I agree, if only they had come out with new roughriders with Apocalypse along with the Ogryns!

The fantasy empire range has some really nice horse models. I like the Iron warrior colour scheme you used.

Yah, I wasn't sure about using the Ion empire colour scheme but I'm glad it's turning out.

LOTR horses are good cause I find that the other ones in fantasy/40k range arent very prone to conversion

I like the LOTR horses but the differnt scale makes them look kinda like war ponies. Which is cool also so.... They're awesome!!

I dont like lotr ponies, I call them that due to the scale difference, Ig look goofy as hell riding on them, the models you made look pretty neat because they are rough riders and rough riders are automatically cool, I especially like the vox man, most cool. But when done incorrectly and you have a bunch of guys on ponies it can look funky, not only that but isnt it illegal? As in illegal in game at GW joints? Anywho, the fantasy horses are fun to play with, they can hold quite a bit of canteens, ammo ect. on em. I like that vox guy!!! Make more!

Why would it be illegal at "GW joints"?

You cant combine LOTR and 40K or Fantasy ranges. Crappy laws. Yes. Anywho.

There more for show I know I can't use them that sucks, but the scale difference started as a joke, originally the horses were painted bright purple with yellow poka-dots. Also (and i know this is a tired excuse) the horses are genetically altered which = Strong Pony.

I didnt know about that rule, cause my local "GW joint" never uses it. In fact, the center peice army now is a Nurgle army with mutated lizardmen! This also might be for display, They dont use it for mega battles, and I know that that rule goes for painting competitions. Ill have to ask.

Well that rule would make sense since GW only "borrowed" the LotR license from another company. And since LotR isn't really their own property...

So you are allowed to mix things that are GWs own IP like necromunda, fantasy and 40k but LotR is its own entity not to be mixed? Anyone got a store guy to verify this?

That rule was mentioned in a WD a while ago. It was an article showing Games Day Golden deamon winners and on one page only the name of the winner and his army were shown without any pictures of his army. This was because he had used LOTR bitz when he created his army.
