Actually the Chaos army has been in that state of affairs for way too long.. though I am hoping that with the release of the new models.. it might motivate me to get more of it painted and truely add to it though. And yes the land raider is nice.. though it still needs a lot of highlights.. I might get a bit more work on it over the coming weeks though as I have joined a 40k campaign at my club.. so there is motivation to get it completed.. I would have started back in on my IG forces.. but they need a bad guy.. and well whever someone thinks of me.. they think of a villian in a movie.. not quite sure why Anyways.. thanks for the comments.. will update again when I have more to add to it Gris

Ok I really hate not having my camera here.. I just broke open 3 packs of squigs here.. and just got them primed and based.. and am beginning to work on a shaman for my army as well.. this will complete 2 units of squigs for me.. and the shaman will be my second which will allow me to play with full characters without worry of unpainted models.. will be very nice to have for a change..
Anyways yeah.. expect tons of pictures this week.. WIPs.. PIPs... and completed models..
Cheers for now.. Gris

Was it busted before you lugged it at a wall?
I really like the Ogres, I like the fact you've choosen to model bellies withought the gut plates, they look really.........um, nifty? not sure if that's the right word to describe Ogres but still, they look cool!

Ha ha.. yeah they rock.. gives them that human touch.. considering that they are modelled after Bretonnians.. well very large bretonnians.. just never got around to finishing them too much cause each one takes forever to finish.. somewhere near like a week each.. between the sculpting and the painting.. its just murder to get them done.. but the end result usually is quite nice.. Almost done with the Shaman's cloak.. just going to touch up his skin now.. then go into the tiny bits and bobs on him.. then I might go back and do some freehand marks and do dads on him.. Anyways.. back to not taking photos and instead just painting it up.. hope the smashed camera on the wall fixes itself and works once again later again Cheers Gris

lol Well my hope is to get a lot of them done.. especially the goblins.. since they are the main army that I play with for fantasy these days.. and that is mostly due to the fact that people in my club are scared of my Ogres and how well they perform..
I have some chaos stuff being delivered as well over the coming weeks so will see how that goes.. need to get some more work done on that land raider as well.. see if I can get it to be a nice show piece instead of a pain in the butt eyesore..
Oh and this doesn't count the IG guys and tanks I have still to get painted.. one of these days I guess.. one of these days..
Cheers for the comments guys.. will be painting up more this weekend..

Another update.. no pictures at this time.. and slightly off topic.. Am in a different contest until the 22nd that will probably take most of my time.. my work ( Sony Europe ) is having an interna competition to sculpt an animal out of playdoh, and the winner gets a brand new Bravia 27" LCD TV So needless to say I am going to be trying my best but very few people know that I do miniatures in my spare time so this should be interesting.. will post some of my trials here over the next couple of days.. cheers Gris

Awsome.. work has been hectic at best lately.. so have not had time to do anything No painting, no sculpting, no playing with play-doh.. but this weekend I should find time.. Am currently between making a turtle or a cat.. both of which I have real life examples at home to use as references Cheers for now, Gris

I'd go for the Turtle Gris...It would make you think about someone we know....Lol If you go for the cat, it could become a squiggoth for orks or orcs!! Just crazy ideas....

Ok so long time no post.. work is hectic and what not.. but anyways there was some progress this weekend.. I was able to get my Goblins started.. here is the first WIP of them.. I know.. its just bases.. but looking at them scares me.. especially when I just found another 40 of them in a box.. Next up is a chaos chariot I completed this weekend.. did it as part of a trade for more models.. and cause the guy is new to the hobby and wanted to have a fully painted force... I took a starting pic of it as well.. but then deleted it when i was trying to make room on my camera for these pics.. doh!!! So yeah.. will move one of these pics to the front page as well where everything is completed.. and also get this post over to the main thread for the competition.. The chariot wasen't done in the colors I wanted.. guy wants an undivided force.. so even the little bit of red on the armor ( and I mean little ) he wasen't sure of.. but its done so meh.. whatever.. Cheers Gris

Ok so here is a WIP of my Land raider interior.. Though I need to know should I make it a bit brighter? More red? Reverse the color scheme? Any thoughts on this would be helpful.. Cheers Gris
