One side is a Gears of War rub on tattoo I got with a gamer's magazine, the other is from an Adeptus Mechanicus banner pack I got from GW's website.

OMG! You have really managed to rape a fine looking Forge World commander. Looks like the plague is spreading at his waste. =D

I feel honoured that someone would make an account specifically to tell me I excell at raping miniatures. Makes me feel proud, warm and fuzzy on the inside.

Our shield and protector, Azalar. LOL.
It's a Gears of war logo by the way, although it does look very imperial.

You're both right. The text is, as I said above, from an Ad Mech banner pack, and the Gears of War logo came with a gaming magazine. I'll ask if they have more, if anybody else wants some.

The only reason for my post was to help the poor guy. How will he ever improve his painting skills when you other guys just can't tell him the truth!?
The yellow paint isn't even inside the boxes on the uniform, but still all of you compliment him on how good it looks!?
Hopefully you will post you next modell to and this one will look a whole lot better.

You have 2 posts. Your not even classed as an Active member.
Secondly, Putting him down wont do as much as good as giving him praise.
Work it out
Praise - Yeah, They like my models, so Ill paint some more, which in the end will improve my painting skill
Putting it down - Well, they didnt like my models, so I might aswell just not paint anymore, heck ill just give Warhammer 40K all together.

Okay. Thanks for helping me, guys. Then let's get back to topic. The fnorre, who graced me with his presence by signing up just to comment on my painting, does have a point, though rudely made. I am a nuts painter. So, pointers for that SO from anyone?

Not bad. Some of the shot areas look a bit off. If you could re do these in color it would be ace!

Hmmm, well... That wasnt very nice of him. Well, still, ummm, I would suggest highlighting! I like the scheme, its really grown on me, the yellow and blue, mm-hm, fancy, but he needs some nice highlighting perhaps? I dunno, maybe I'm full of crapolla. Say, nice pics...is that guardsman in the back wearing a great coat??? OMG THAT WOULD BE COOL! Post more! I demands it!

Dear 117, those two pictures were intentionally put to greyscale. I wanted to achieve the same effect as in the pictures on the Heavy choices in the latest IG codex.
Dear Commissar, theenks. And I hate to bash your hopes in, but it's not a greatcoat. It's a poorly made cloak. Also, what kind of highlights do you think would go with Sunburst Yellow and Enchanted Blue?

Hmm, well for enchanted blue, probly a mix of enchanted blue and white, just make it subtle so you dont have like, a baby blue army. And a lighter, lighter tone of yellow. Just add white. Mm-hm. Good luck comrade. Rember to vote commie!
