This is my first attempt at armor. I plan on building an armored company so any comments would be great. Also, the name of the tank on the turret is greek and it means thunder, to save you from asking. Thanks for taking a look! We have the high ground!

Shazam! Like it. But...why is that sergeant holding his helmet? "Look at my disdain of your snipers! I take my helmet off!"

Jumping up on the barricade, the officer yells "why are you hiding cowards? Their snipers couldn't hit the broad side of an Elepha...." -Famous last words of a Civil War officer.

Nice tank. I like the grey-and-blue plating scheme on the sides of it.

I have to agree.. I really like this color scheme.. it really works for a city fight type terrain.. the tank is very nice as well but the infantry are spot on mate.. very nice work..

nice, but what's the "buck"? and is the name "Bponth" or "Sponth"? EDIT: also, the seargent holding his helmet i don't think get's an extra attack, a helmet is a CCW, it's a power fist! (just kidding) so he is practicly worse than a standard guardsman

Fine, to hell with creativity.... haha Tell me you can't see some grizzled old sarg. smashing his helmet into some heretic scum's face. BPONTH in Greek means thunder. Its pronounced BRONTE. Also, on the other side of the hull mount it says wheat. Buckwheat. Its a nickname. You can't see the other side in the pictures. Also, the top hatch has Roadblock written on it. I thought that was kinda funny for a tank commander's call name.

You can't really see it in these pics, but the sarge with the helmet has a scar running down his forehead and down into his eye, which I greyed out so it looks like he can't see out of it.

I only used a wash on their face. Here's the steps. 1: Prime with Chaos Black spray paint. 2: Coat all cloth material in a 50/50 Chaos black, Fortress gray mix 3: Base all armor with Regal Blue 4: Base all flesh and leather with Dark Flesh 5: Paint all raised cloth areas with Codex Gray 6: Hit edges of armor with Enchanted Blue 7: Raised edges of flesh with Dwarf Flesh 8: Light wash on skin with Flesh Wash 9: The eyes are a black base with two little white dots 10: Leather pieces are highlighted with Snakebite Leather I have tried using different paint brands in the past but the citadel ones really are amazing. I haven't used the new foundation sets yet, but I hear they're pretty amazing. Also, buying a high quality, fine detail brush is a MUST. The citadel one I use is pretty good, but I'm sure there are better out there. Any other questions or suggests please pass them on. I can put up step by step pictures if you'd like. I'm just starting a new batch. Just let me know.

Yeah, take a close look in the crowd scenes. There is a token black guy in there somewhere. He's got a 'nade launcher, though it may be on a different thread.
