As I promised in a earlier thread, heres some more pics of stuff thats done, or being worked on. Id love any and all feed back. its what keeps me going. While Im in Iraq (leave Dec 10 for the 3rd time) Ill keep on chuggin and paint more. my intent is to have a very healthy force once I return. but true to every gamer i cant seem to focus on just one project soo, this'll contend with my Ordo zeno, Chaos SM, and my High elves. (plus trying not to get blown up on missions) SSG. All c o c k (the forum dont like my last name it thinks its rude) an autocannon Chimera for my yet to be painted Mech cav. 1 of 2 Salamanders (yet to build the 2nd) my Whirlwind, for my Ordo Zenos. left over parts made into a Predator (L Russ, Rhino, and Chimera) Protection against the Zeno Scum... What a way to live... Earthshaker from Forgeworld 1 of 2 The crew (notice Cav and fast attck is yellow, Arty red, special troops green and INF blue) current project... I added the Assault cannons but they will function as H bolters. Ratlings... my first time ever playing with green stuff... a fill in Commissar one of the squads My Regimental standard, and a few officers and commissars

Those are some awsome models, they're all so cool! I love the heavy bolter and carrage wheels, looks like something from "Zulu"!

on the landraider, I really like the stormbolter turret, and seeing the light on the post coming off it took me back to when I was OPFOR at Ft. Irwin back when I was in the Army. we called that the 'whoopie light' or the 'lunch light' cuz when our tank was 'killed' during the wargames it'd go off and we'd be like 'whoopie, it's lunch time!'
God watch over you when you're back in Iraq and bring you home safe again, sarge.

thank you. I enjoy building the army more then playing it. but its still a good time to play too. Today I played my final battle before haeding back over. I was the INQ. (ORDO ZENO) and fought against my own IG, and my buddies Tallarans. it went well for the IG for the first 3 turns due to me having to cross almost 6 feet of board (played on a 6 by six) but in the end the INQ won the day with hand to hand. anyhow thanks again...

Gah! It's been a while since I've been in these parts, poped in after you left your post on my blog, and it looks like you've done a damn good job of the Gatlings Bolters, nice one! My only complaint would be youve finished your Gatling Malcador before me, god damn it lol!

Umm..nice models but the painting is in some models sloppy. Use always several layers, and dont use too much ink. Well in this model there is not too much ink, but just to remind everybuddy. In the landraider for exaple the painting is a bit sloppy, but otherwise i like some of the models. Keep it up

To every man his own..... While my painting maynot be to the highest standard, my shot group is as they say in Sniper School "SNIPER SEND IT" Ill try and improve, once I return, or maybe Ill find time between missions. Thank you for the advice. SSG. All c o c k

I agree maybe another layer for those tanks, especially for those flat areas, also take care of yourself in Iraq, and to post us as soon as your back! Also the use of terrain in your pics really adds more pizzaz to 'em

Terrain can really help the model look that much better...
