nice and clean dreadnought, what did you make the sarge with binoculars hat of? and the terminator with banner also has an unusuall head. but uhm.... you started 1 and a 1/2 year ago and this is your painting? you've gotta painted a lot before this. or you are a natural.

Hi Jankett, thanks for your comment.
The peaked cap is actually from the Forge World Cadian upgrade set, so I can't take any credit for that. The Chaplain Terminator helmet was green stuffed, using a normal termie helmet as a base, but the top and front of the helmet chopped out. I have only been painting figures for war gaming since September 2006, before that I had done a couple of larger 90mm plus figures, but only a couple of months before that. For many years my passion was model cars, granted modeling, all be it vastly different techniques though.
Rarves, Thanks, yes the dog always gets lots of attention in games, he's the officer's trademark item ,that allows you to re-roll failed morale tests, pinning etc. It's a Lord of the Rings model, Framer Maggot. I have 2 one for each platoon command squad.
cadian117 Thanks, I think that this scheme is fairly common, but then it does look very authentic. The plasma guns are Forgeworld Elysian Alcatran pattern plasma guns, much better scale for IG then the SM ones.
