Hi guys Inspired by reading the 'Dark Heresy' rulebook I decided to revive my iquisitorial forces I started a couple of years ago (mainly to play 'Inquisitor' in 40k size then). Over the next few months I want to create some converted minis for each possible career in 'Dark Heresy'. Obviously roleplaying is more fun when playing with minis.. Cheers CC

Those are bloody brilliant! Just like all of your other works. I particularly like the painting and highlighting on the inquisitor himself. The marines are also very good.

Well done, those minis look great, have you used dark angel components for the inquisitor?

They're full of mold lines, but leaving that out, they're really good

Stop being so hard on him, I can see one mold line, I looked for a while before spotting it too.

I know it would be him. Great models!
BTW: where did you get the model in question?

Stop being so hard on him, I can see one mold line, I looked for a while before spotting it too. CC is a great painter and modeller so he should survive that critic. And now to the list: Inquisitor Boltpistol left arm shoulder pad of the Imperial Fist exterminator left arm shoulder pad of the Ultramarine exterminator and perhaps on the left arm shoulder pad of the Black Templar exterminator, but that one is a bit tricky since it could be from the metallic paint.

Yeah, AND they gonna shut down BI and any official support. I'm digusted by GW's policy to ignore the needs and interests of their older customers. Here's to another year of LotR goodies..sigh. However, the Rulebook is a masterpiece and anyone remotely intested in the subject should try to get a copy. Sappmer : You might as well try eBay.com, .fr, .dk, .de if you can't find it @co.uk... If you're just looking for the rules, try specialist games website. They have the rules for Mordheim, NNecromunda, Blood Bowl, and Battle Fleet Gothic for download. So chances taht they also have the Inquisitor rules are pretty good.

first off: totally sweet minis. I love the inquisitor - gets away from the minis GW made of inquisitors that all seem kinda off to my eye. I really like the use of DA bits on him - totally sweet model. the deathwatch kill team minis are ace too - looks like you're gonna be running an ordo xenos inquisitor eh? ^_^ dark heresy should be a great opportunity for you to use some of your other showcase squads on the tabletop - all the single squad one-offs you've done of different schemes should really come in handy for your games. if you're GMing you've got some great assets for a campaign that switches setting freely. it's totally awesome you've got a squad of support painted for urban, wilderness, etc. very very cool asset to bring to the table minis-wise. Yeah, AND they gonna shut down BI and any official support. I'm digusted by GW's policy to ignore the needs and interests of their older customers. Here's to another year of LotR goodies..sigh. good news is that Fantasy Flight has picked up the license to Dark Heresy, so the RPG >will< continue under their banner. the only limitation in the contract is that Fantasy Flight can't take it into a minis based game (so essentially the non-heroclix style of the game where it's the traditional paper and pencil RPG we know and love is ensured to last and be the foundation on which the game will continue to be built). also, there's a site you should check out called heresypedia which is basically a wikipedia kinda thing for dark heresy where they're building an online fan-built rules expansion that covers alternate races and vehicles and equipment and careers...it's just a general 'the book was the tip of the iceberg, this is the rest of it' kinda site. the neat thing is that black industries has released the license (or whatever - I dunno the legal mumbo-jumbo) to the general public, so the heresypedia project is legal. it's got rules for playing/using space marines in your campaign too - something that you may wanna swing thru and take a look at as you look to be prepping to use some deathwatch marines in your game! anyway, here's the link: darkheresy.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Pageyeah, I really dig the rulebook - I bought it with the thought 'hmm this has to at least have a ton of fluff in it' and was just completely blown away by what I found on the pages inside. it's a full on 5 star product in my humble opinion. anyway - sweet models ciaphas .. you still need to give in and do eyeballs one of these days though! if you just added that, your minis could easily find a place in white dwarf and whatnot.

And we will see about the eyeballs;)

haha I say this realizing that it's the only thing I do painting-wise better than you...*sigh*... (though that's probably just cuz you don't even paint the eyballs at all!)
