Awesome work. My Guard would be proud to die horribly in your trench!

Ahhhh ... but art it never ages ... really though, I only "accidentally" necrotised this due to understimation of the extreme busyness of this thread area - dude!
Ie: It's sooooo quiet one can hear the janitor cleaning the gallery marble floor!

Thanks
It's always good getting peoples feedback on stuff like this so I don't mind a bit of necromancing in the galleries, it's just annoying when someone revives a question that was asked two years ago.

you cant really blame some one for thread necromancy. as new people join its all new to them and therefore not dead. and why is it considered bad to give props to work that was done along time ago. lets take this to the real world. we all give props to the collesium and the mona lisa but thats thread necromancy

btw while this thread comes up again, i like the layout and desighn by the way.... but how well did it hold out, was it more effective for your guys or did they just get stuck there while getting blown to bits? hopfully they lasted and killed many heretics or played laser tag with another IG army lol.... and yes i want to make that a mini game laser tag.... imagine... hellguns, las rifles las pistols, las cannons, multi las....anything las

Only ever used it once.
1500pt IG v's 2000pt SpaceWolves With some simple rules for the trench system.
The trenches gave 4+ cover save and the barb wire was impassable terrain for none vehicles. I can't remember what exactly happened but heres a brief-
Turn 1 Spacepups went first moved everything forward (Scouts didn't appear), opened fire and killed a couple of guardsmen.
My turn I opened up with everything and almost wiped out his army. I destroyed all his transports then shot up the bailed passengers.
There was no turn 2.
To be fair to my opponent he hadn't prepared for a bunker assault, he wanted to try it when he saw the trenches.
