Ok so recently over the weekend I played a friendly game of 40k against my friend who plays Orks. So here are the armies from what I remember. Its 1650pts and city fight.

Deployment:
[Game type is capture table quarters] Orks pack into their quarter and the grots are deployed in a line in front of the entire ork force. I put my Dark Reapers and Pathfinders on elevated positions while my Harleys hide in the shadows as well as my Avatar. My Fire Dragons hide in a building so they can spring out and super heat the Killa Kans. The Guardians deploy on the flank so they can take the table quarter. The Dire Avengers, Wraithlord and Farseer are right in the middle of my quarter. I win 1st turn GAME ON!!!
Turn 1
[Eldar]- Guardians move into the table quarter on my right out of range of danger but still close enough to use their Scatter Laser. Wraithlord moves into a building for more cover. The Farseer casts Fortune and guide on the Dark Reapers on the roof. Both pass. Now on to the shooting. Pathfinders open fire on the nearest Ork Slugga unit and I roll 7 5,6¡¦s along with 2 regular hits. After all is said and done 4 Orks and 3 grots go down thanks to the lame grots giving cover saves rule. The Guardians open up w/ their scatter laser and kill 2 boyz. The Dark reapers open fire on the Storm Boyz and kill 3 thanks to their launchers and the Exarch kills 2 with the rocket blasts. The final bit is when the Wraithlord opens fire with the shuriken cannon and destroyes the Flame Track [woohoo].
[Orks]- Deys mad! Orks move up in nice stylish wave fashion and the truck containing the warboss moves on their right flank. Kans move up as well. Ork shooting was interesting they opened up with their entire army on the Dark Reapers [Thank god I gave them fortune ļ]. After the smoke clears only 2 Dark reapers have fallen. End turn 1
Turn 2
[Eldar]- Nothing really moves cept the guardians get into some better cover. Fortune and guide on reapers. Shooting, The Reapers open up on the truck containing the warboss and the truck is sent blazing but the boss and his crew makes it out. The Pathfinders open fire on the Storm Boyz that have foolishly put themselves in clear line of site. They open up and drop 3 of the Boyz. Scatter laser opens fire and drops 3 more orks. The shuriken cannon fires on the warboss who has just been thrown from his truck and kills 1 Nob.
[Orks]- the orks once again surge forward. The boyz on the left flank target the Pathfinders and drop 2 of them. The other units on the right shoot at the Reapers and only scratch their armor. Kans open up on the Wraithlord and give him 1 wound.
Turn 3
[Eldar]- Movement consists of the wraithlord backing up slightly. Fortune and guide on reapers. The Reapers open fire on the Kans and destroy one. The Dire avengers open fire on the Storm boyz who are looking rather dangerous at this point and only drop 2. The scatter laser drops another 2 Sluggas. The wraithord targets the storm boysz but does nothing.
[orks]- Orks move up and storm boys come within assault range of the Dire Avengers. The Kans surge forward. The ork tide truggs behind and does the same. The grots concentrate and move towards the center. Shots are fired and Eldar lost 1 Dark Reaper and 1 Pathfinder along with 1 Dire Avenger. They then assault the Avengers And lose 1 in the process but take 6 Avengers down with them.
Turn 4
[Eldar]-Wraithlord moves in the general direction of the combat only to see the little grots and the slaver running towards him. The Avatar moves to assist his Avenger brethren. Pathfinders open fire into the tide and kill 3. The fire dragons move out of cover and unleash their Meltas on the Kans. After the smoke clears one is shaken and the other is missing its Claw. The Reaper Exarch fires his rockets into the Warbosses retinue that is nearing the center. The Avatar charges into combat along with the Wraithlord and together they smash the Storm Boyz.
[ork]- Orks move up and the Grots swarm the Fire Dragons. After seeing the Storm Boyz fall to the combined power of the Avatar and Wraithlord the orks concentrate fire on the wraithlord and after almost the entire army shoots at the wraith construct, he comes crashing down full of bullet holes. Then they Fire on the Reaper Exarch and bring him down as well. The Grots Kill 3 Fire Dragons [SKWEEEE!!!].
Turn 5
[Eldar]- Avatar moves to silence the Grots. Farseer Casts guide on the Quins and fortune on the Avatar. The Harlequins move out and get within assault range of a full ork unit. They fire and kill 4 orks and prepare to assault. The rangers open fire and kill 2 Nobs. The remaining Avengers move up and prepare to face the tide. The guardians still untouched fire and kill 2 orks with the Scatter Laser. The Avatar and Harlequins move in to assault. The Avatar charges into the rabble of Green stunties and kills 5. but still the grots stand. ¡§Arggg your refusal to die angers the demon with the big sword!!!!!¡¨. The Quins attack and when the mess is over Only 1 Ork out of the 20 is left standing, the Quins are Completely untouched and jump back to a safe distance.
[Orks]- The orks are still paralyzed from the Killer Clowns. But regain composure and surge forward with what little remains. The Nob Fires at the quins and brings down 3 of them and charges them. Thanks to some rules the Warboss Strikes first and the nobs after the Quins. 2 more Quins fall then they strike back and kill 4 Nobs. The nobs strike back and kill 3 Quins. The Grots try to strike the Avatar but are unable to considering the fact that he outsize¡¦s them 10 fold.
Turn 6
[elder]- Farseer casts fortune on Avatar guide fails. quins jump out of combat and see that they now have nothing to stop the Kans. So the quins charge into the avatars combat and help him finish off the rabble. The Guardians stay in cover guaranteeing one table quarter to the Eldar. The orks hold another with a full squad across the board. Rangers open fire on the Warboss and bring him down.
[orks]- Kans Charge the Avatar and go into combat with him. The quins just watch. The Avatar strikes the cans and destroys 1 but the other strikes back and wounds him 2 times. The orks open fire on the Guardians hopeing to reduce their scorring but only kill 2.
End of Game
After victory points are totaled up The Eldar had 87 more VC¡¦s than the Orks so It is a Tie. Great Game
