while I had about 2500pts in IG on the table, the battle was really centered around the Dark Angels. I stuck to the fluff and used B. Co. of the Cadian 551st Infantry Regiment as the shock troopers they really are and put them on the front lines. they took the initial carnage unleashed by the Chaos forces and valiantly charged into the maw of hell to sieze the melee initiative so that I could dictate when and where the hand to hand fights broke out for the most part. the dark angels, able to survive the initial onslaught due to the brave sacrifices from the Cadian 551st, were able to have a fighting chance in the massive battle. here's the batrep! picheavy and photoshopped up for your enjoyment turtleboys-workshop.net/imperial_guard/picbatrep3_1.shtml

Ahh, the "saber-toothed" furry variant. Lethal.

yeah my friend was telling me about how him and a friend made a house rule that whatever the cat knocked over was a casualty and then about how once, when his friend was losing, he took all the bacon bits and, instead of sprinkling them on his salad, threw them all over the table in the midst of my friends troops...yes...the cat-titan of DOOM was unleashed ruthlessly on my friends army!

That is one cute kitty...a wise move to disguise such a dangerous terror We had a similar rule way back when at my friend's house when we played on his pool table...though his cat was overly lazy, and I don't recall us ever having to worry about it..
