this was my first time working with a metal model that involved more work then simply chopping off a hand or a gun barrel, actually had to file this sucker down and my feelings are mixed he looks cool from the front! the back is where it starts to get ugly... but heck I ain't picky and he looks good enough for me. this guy here is a lot of fun, I got him from a friend and I really dont know anything about him other then he is an old guardsmen can anyone identify the era and tell me where he came from? I'm really interested to know. chopped up him gun and gave him some scout gear and some cadian bits, since I only have the one I've been thinking about dubbing him a stand in for a Vindicare Assassin, would there be any objections form the community if I did this?

The commisar looks brilliant, the powerfist suits him and his pose. The assassin is cool too,the sniper rifle looks really cool and all the other added bits make him look well prepared. Will he be Vindicare assassin?

The Commisar looks really cool. Well done. Kudos!
I don't think that sniper is a GW model. I don't recognise it atleast. I am very familiar with the whole IG range and it don't look too familiar...

I questioned my friend a bit more and got him to tell me that the kneeling model was from an old heavy weapons team and he even found and forked over the old heavy weapon! shown here next to a familar face.
