In my humble oppinion i would say that the second design is more intricate and acturely looks more camouflaged. However i would guess that it would be harder in itself to paint then the two, and since from the first picture it is quite difficult to see how good you are at painting models, i would have to sugest go for type two.

I like the first one better, for some reason I just dont like the blue camo.

;DI went for the second scheme, and here is how the model turned out: I'm really happy with the result,I'm not a brilliant painter but i reckon a whole army of these guys should look rather spiffy!

VERY SKILLED! Amazing paint job on this guy, I love it! The face is just great, and the camo looks fantastic. Good work comrade! *pins hero of the Soviet Union medal on you*

Camo schemes are actually easier to paint than plain one coloured things. You don't need any highlighting for camo schemes, actually they'd let it look worse. The normal colour scheme needs highlighting if you want it to look good. Another great advanatge of camo schemes is that you don't have them to look the same all the time. I'd say there is no camo pattern within the same army that is exactly like the other one. So basically you camo pattern will look different than the one from the guys standing next to you.

I love both schemes, the second one especially. They must take a while though, I'm not sure if you are going to be able to paint a whole army like that.

Those are just awesome! Got any tips for painting the camo stripes?.. I was going to go with that first painting scheme, but youve inspired me to try my own camo! Thanks
