having just finished the first Eisenhorn book and looking forward to reading the others I've decided to get me an Inquisitor for my Guard's 2nd HQ slot (for those times when I'm up against chaos and what not) I quickly realized that the Inquisitor's henchmen gave me many options for conversion, here is what I've got so far. group shot acolytes made form sisters repentia and armed with bolt pistols and power swords. sage and vet guardsmen made from lt varras plus flamer

I think you may need to tone down the paint usage a bit. Those poor repentia look rather faceless.
That or your camera can't focus on them well.

they are all getting a whole new paint job pretty soon actually hopefully it will be an improvement.
and the chainsword guy came with the inquisitor set, I just chopped him up a bit.

I too am digging the sage. And I like the use of the Battle for McCragge guy too! Way to think outside the box(set). 2D6 pun damage.

I had to do something with Varras, it would have been a crime to just let him stand around when I have so many extra bits that could be put to good use.

an Inquisitor has gotta have an archenemy right? who better then a nasty chaos sorcerer hellbent on getting his gauntleted hand on all blasphemous secrets he can find. and of course he has gotta have some lackeys of his own...

Is that a heroquest chaos warrior I see before me... yeah Heroquest! That Chaos Sorceror is an awesome model ... I'm almost tempted ... no no no not the dark side...

heck yeah he is from HeroQuest and now butchered! also took my stormtrooper with a flamer and gave him a grenade launcher. and my disagreassin(why did the board edit the word As(s)assin and changed to disagreassin?) made from a yet unidentified oop guardsman model.

those are some cool models as far as the editing - I dunno about how/when/why the built in censoring function works - it's kinda like the millennium falcon, I think, in that the falcon had multiple powerful AI systems running it and they constantly fall into argument which randomly shuts down and/or locks out portions of the ships systems (so says star wars fluff at least). the IGMB censor programs are the same way methinks...

I'm itching to paint these also, but I promised myself I'd finish my guard first, only 26 more minis and 3 tanks to go! behold the many uses for Lt Varras! sactioned psyker and vet with flamer I made that Lictor from extra bits as well (you can probably tell!) my feelings about him are mixed.

Wowies. Love the conversions. The assassin (or whatever you wanna start calling it looolz) has great potential to be a brilliant model.

progress! needs a bit more work here and there, you also may notice I dont flock my bases, that is because I'm still working on getting a table and I'm holding out till I know what color it'll be, probably a scortched earth/ashy sorta deal... I play on a black pingpong table in the meantime.
