Ok, not really a 40k topic... I want to get a Vampire Count on a Zombie Dragon for my Vamppire Counts army sooner or later, but since I don't like all of GW's dragon minis I was wondering if anyone had good ideas for sculpting a dragon from scratch or if there are any good dragon minis outthere that could be redone a bit...

Actually I like that one even less than the GW one. I miss some flesh on the bones

I already thought about that. but I'd have to change a lot on it and I fear that it would be so much that I could actually start modelling my own own (wing positions, legs, neck, fangs, etc)

I have this! Unfortunately it is in sad shape. I've lost the little plaque with the limited edition number on it and the original certificate. Boo hiss to me. Maybe I should try to ebay it anyway. If anyone here wanted it, they could pm me and save me an ebay ad. LSM

I just went to my local GW and asked a bit around and got a sweet option. In the Armybook Bretons there is a nice little dragon on one page. It was a normal Carnosaur from the Lizardmen range, with slight conversions at the tail, neck and added wings. Sculpting a new rider shouldn't be too much of a problem as well. I think I'll stick with that solution since it is the best looking one
