yeah I am a little intimidated by the idea of painting this monster.
luckily it isn't too hard to make something look like an Ork painted it. Spray the whole thing black, add red and boltgun metal details.

you can always add plasticard or greenstuff the pieces in question to hide what they once were.

In the middle of the tank, sticking out of the superstructure - If you are looking for "bricks" you won't find ... it's sum o' that new fangled funky stuff them kids are playing wit dese days!
Nice work ymmot ... Ork conversions are a joy. Back in the day my brother and I created an ork "Kommand-wagon" complete with an ork Kommandant and adjunct standing around a mini w40k board and working on their strategy... it was sweet!

Ahh i see now. Didnt spot that at all, shouldnt be too hard to disguise with plasticard and a bunch of bitz
