I just went by the US GW website, and saw that they're selling the older edition stormtroopers! I'm VERY psyched! I'd buy a bunch of them if I wasn't so poor!

honestly i like the kasrkrin stormies, i like the poses and gasmask look. their hellguns look good aswell.

I prefer the Old stormies, the Kaskrin can only be used with a Cadian style army and so are less flexible. The old Generic ST can be used with a far wider range of armies....

I still love the beret wearing stormtroopers. Same here, man. I managed to get one beret-style stormmie from a lucky ebay bid. I wish they still sold that type too

This is one case where I have to come down in favour of the newer models; I just think they look cooler. Would have been great if they'd done them in plastic though...

I have to say that the new stormies look more intimidating. Gas masks make everyone look more intimidating.

I have to say, I don't find them in the least intimidating. It's hard to be intimidated by a model that is one fourty-eighth your size But yes, being serious, to similarly verticaly-challanged 28mm model they do look more threatening. Particularly the sergeant's gaze...
