Personally, I love the crap outta those minis! I don't see a problem with the bronze weapons myself. I'd run with it!
In fact, I wouldn't mind knowing how you did the fatigues on those guys?

Oh, thanks. Yeah, I'm liking them more and more myself. The pants are painted with one thick layer of bestial brown and "inked" with watered down chaos black once dry. Then they are highlighted with bestial brown. Some of them have a greenish tone, that's from a former coloscheme that I don't want anymore so ignore that The red parts are just red gore highlighted with bloodred. Everything on a black sprayed undercoat of course.

those models are pretty awesome, they wouldn't be out of place alongside the vostroyan first born or as an inquisitor's retinue.

Indeed, those bronzed weapons are awesome, loving the overall color scheme. I have to agree with chromepip; they seem to be more suited for Inquisitorial duties...

thanks.
Well I do have sort of a problem with them looking inquistorial, cause it makes them look very "elite", almost like stormtroopers. I mean, I agree, the scheme is very nice indeed... but on 100 models?
I will probably paint like 20 troopers and a tank or something before I decide. But it's deffinatly leaning towards this scheme atm, unless they look terrible in larger numbers.

Certainly a splendid colour scheme, I must admit. Not over the top at all- in fact, it's fairly classy.

You could even say that they're representing a wealthy rogue trader or something along those lines.
...now I want to bronze some lasguns...
