Just a follow on from my "Missing Cadian Battleforce" post.
Well the good news is that the Cadian Battleforce box sets are back and they cost the same.
But (you knew there was going to be a "but") they've dropped the set of Gothic ruins that came with it. So GW must be getting the message about the constant price rises so they've come up with a new plan - Pay the Same and Get Less.
I told you they were up to something sneaky.

yes...and errr...maybe...my computer might help somehow?  and that is outrageous! those ruins were awesome, but was the cadian battleforce the only b/force that came with ruins? |

I'm getting another battleforce soon, the one i got two weeks ago had the ruins.
I hope this new one has got them...
...or my basilisk i aiming high for 6711 Baymeadow Drive, Glen Burnie, MD 21060-6401 USA!
I shall use their ruins instead!

I know for a fact that my GW still carries the battleforce with terrain, for now at least. Its gonna be a shame to watch the poor things go. GW I hate you... |

Well I got mine off a reseller on ebay and it came straight from GW Nottingham, last month I got one from the same seller and it had the ruins.
So some shops may still have the old ones in store.

Indeed, they've stocked the new ones here as well. Orz, but anyway, at least the men are still there, imagine if they took away something else other than the ruins, imagine if it was the LR!

I'm annoyed about the ruins because I could get £20 for them on ebay (painted) which meant I only paid £22 for the rest of the contents.

Sorry, I can't get upset over ruins I never used anyway.
I do call foul over the lack of a price adjustment. But, then again, while the rising cost of gas (petrol) doesn't increase the production cost, it does increase the cost to transport the raw materials needed to produce the plastics.

I can't remember where I got my first set of them. It must have been with a box of space marines or something, oh I think, perhaps, they came with the old starter box.
Not a big loss though, I imagine, in order to keep them in, they would have to raise the price so I'd rather see them go.

*sniffs* But.... I loved those ruins! Why does everything I love leave me?! *takes bat and guards models, not noticing that they have come to life and are sneaking out, one by one* WHY?!?!
I liked those ruins. I made a diorama with the chapel part!
