I doubt it - but with vet platoons as troop choice they'll be more space in the elites section for stormies - hope we don't lose grenadiers tho with the loss of doctrines. WHAT!!!!! We are losing the customisation options by losing doctrines ?? come on you know how many ways I can rig a apocalypse match buy giving eachinfantry Regiments different Doctrines to fit diffrent roles in short i hope we are not geting rid or doctrins modify or add i am open to

revan the doctrines are gone the way of the dodo as we know them now. However, what we are going to see is that they will be included as unit upgrades.
So when you buy the platoon you will be able to upgrade that platoon to have certain Doctrinesque like upgrades. (e.g. Sharpshooter, Close order drill, Drop troop). With the upgrades being so many points per squad. Since we will be seeing a troop choice cost drop this is two fold good and bad for us.
From what I can tell you can still tool up an Apoc army as you been doing by giving each platoon a different role and upgrades.
Just as the Armory will no longer be as we know it to fit in with the new game, it will eliminate certain questions about war gear availability, but also open up new questions ala the Nob Powerfist dibacle.
