Hey guys! I posted a thread a long way back saying how I was going to make a conversion of an Imperial Commander so that it resembled the one from the game Dark Crusade, Governor Militant Lukas Alexander. Well I started working on it finally and even made a pretty kick ass power claw for him out of a Tau stealthsuit hand with Kroot dreadlocks as claws. But I decided to scrap that idea when my buddy went to Games Workshop and bought a Space Marine commander for his part sprues as well as buying some Warhammer fantasy for the parts as well. So, after looking at all the new bitz be had, I created this guy. Because well lets face it, the Imperial Commander that GW sells is LAME. Its a fat guy with a cigar. WTF mate?! :-D But anyway, here is the new commander, this is my first handmade conversion ever and my first run with using greenstuff!! I hope you all enjoy!! My camera is mediocre, so some of the pics are blurry. More to come!!

Not too shabby. Definitely a different look to him. I like it. However, I feel its missing something but I cant seem to put my finger on it.

Beautiful conversion which is sadly undersold by a fairly basic paint job. I'd go back to the work bench on him. That metalwork on the arm and breastplate is dying for some interesting layers, detail, black lining... you've made a beautiful model there - sell it!

Yeah i agree, the gap around the waist needs to be filled, he looks too... anorexic.
But I still love the model, where did the flowwing cape come from?

There's a gap between his waist and legs. Fill that with Green stuff and it will look awsome.
Keep up the good work.

Thank you guys for all of your feedback! The gap in between his torso and legs will be patched up soon with greenstuff and painted, i actually didnt realize it was so obvious until you guys pointed it out! :-D I'm also going to add some detail to his breastplate and maybe add a sash and some medals for him And tridman, the cape came from one of the Games Workshop Warhammer Fantasy guys, I'll get back to you asap when find out what it is.
