the trick to getting around the stickiness is dipping your sculpting tools in a bit of olive oil

fingerprints? nahh, its just little wrinkles in his hat. *cough*
using olive oil to smooth things out sounds like it might be a good idea, might get things a little greasy though. I dip my tools in water to smooth out the joints and gaps I fill with greenstuff, I haven't tried to sculpt anything out of it yet.

I wasn't saying the finger print ruins it. . . Just noting it was there Instead of Olive oil, using Vaseline works just as well, and isn't really as greasy in the long run. . . (A little advice there

I'm really liking that hat conversion there. At first glance, I thought you transplanted a Valhallan Lieutenant's hat onto the Cadian Commander's head. Nice job!

Excellent job Check out the GW working with GS article, covers lots of the basics, curing, avoiding finger prints, etc.. deffo worth a read. Nice job tho
