Hey all - Just a question or two

Hey guys, today I just joined this Forums - and I only found it yesterday! I just thought these forums were awesome, and as I recentley bought an IG codex, I have a few questions that you might be able to answer.

1. Okay, well in The Command Squad, are the Guardsmen included in the cost of the Officer (excluding their equipment etc..)

2. When you choose doctrines, do you have to add up the cost for every unit that is able to take them, or just take it for ones that you want?

3. With Hardened Veterans, I take it that you model them out of the plastic Cadians/Catachans/whatever army you collect's base troop?

1: Yes,
As stated in the codex: ''The The officers points cost includes the basic cost of hiss staff''
They come free with a lasgun or laspistol and close combat weapon.

2: You can apply doctrines at will as long it isn't stated you have to!
With exception of special equipment. Then you do have to give every possible unit (that is allowed to make use of the doctrine) the equipment.

3: It's just a matter of personal preference how you model them. Some people like to do catachen based veterans with for example a cadian army. Just to give them a tougher look. As long all their equipment and weapons are presented it's officially allowed.
So this one is just up to you.
