Does anyone dip their models? if so how do you do it?
I have no idea how it is done, but i saw a tyranid army that was dipped and it was phenomenal, it gave them this shiny sick coat, that made them look really realistic, (as realistic as a fictional creature can get)

i dont like using glossy or shiny stuff on anything unless it needs it e.g lenses or glass. i dont dip but for tyranids i agree gloss is really cool.

I used this method on my Nids. Bought it from a Company called Army Painter. I wouldn't advise it on anything else unless its Matt. Also seems a bit of a 'cheat' but hey. www.thearmypainter.com/Edit: Actually, upon reviewel of the Army Painter Website they now sell cans of Anti-Shine. I don't know the quality of this though, I can't imagine a spray/undercoat/dip then another spray would do wonders for detailed models. But I don't know.
