I decided to put my terrain project (which I'm doing along my army) Enjoy Everything is WIP by the way ^^ (basilisk and grenadier on the parking space for scale comparison): Overall view The entrance house: Craters: That's it so far. I'm planning covering it up with rouh structure paint and hope it'll look like snow. If it doens't I will be using modelling snow anyway. This is the half of it so far. Zumbaz

What is the foam-like material you are using for your terrain, and where doeth one purchase it?
Is it polystyrene? Or foamboard?

It's polystyrene, I did buy it in a nearby building market (i don't know how it's called in English for sure) it's relatively cheap too at around €3,50!

Only comment that I would make is regarding the tracks of your railway. If you look at tracks you will notice they looke like miniature I beams with the top curved. Would lend a huge way to the authinticity of your diorama to include such rails as well.
Otherwise, this is a great job you have going on.

I don't know excactly what you mean, but now you say it I could spend more time in making tracks! I'll certainly will redo the rails now! Thanks ssgtdude, these are the comments that really make things better, altough any comments are nice
Anymore suggestions/comments anyone?? Thanks all, zumbaz

Thanks all, zumbaz Easy to understand what I am taking about. Since you are in the Netherlands go out to the tram station. Look at the tracks the car rides on. You will notice that the bottom is flat, thinner in the middle portion and rounded across the top. An I beam is a steel beam that looks like an I A rail is similar except the top is round instead of flat. Also FYI wheels on a train are not flat. They are cone (Thinner on the inside than on the outside with the flange) shaped. They are made this way so that when a train goes around a corner they do not slip off the tracks.

Very good work, I love the details on this, one of the finest terrain pieces I've ever seen.
