Has anyone had any experience with the Testors brand of hobby supplies? I used to use their super glue a lot before Wal-Mart stopped selling them...
Still, has anyone used any of their products?

Testors paint is slightly cheaper than GW, spreads well, but will separate if you don't use it in a while. If you don't use it for years, you'll have a half-dried, separated mess.

I perfer to use the Testor's brand of plastic glue over the GW plastic glue. GW in my experiance is much thinner and dries slower. The Testor's has more of a tackiness to it to hold parts while they dry instead of me having to hold the parts together.
As far as the Testor's paints. They are an oil based enamel so you need to use a paint thinner to clean the brushes. If you use an enamel and then want to put an acrylic over it you will want to test the two products together. Some acrylics will not bond with enamels.
Another problem with the enamel is the cure time is much slower. Sometimes it takes as much time as a month for the enamel to fully cure. It may be dry to the touch after a few hours, but the acrylics can be handled within 5-10 minutes after application and cure in 24 hours.
All in all it is all in what you want to use. I perfer the Delta Creamcoats over GW basicly for the price and the quantity of what I get. I can always mix colors to get that GW color if I need to. (I pay about $1.00 US for 2oz pots)

I find Locktite Quicktite to work the best for me, dries in secodns and is a bugger to break off. I absolutely hate their paints. Valejo, and GW are much better, but pricey.
