What is a LR Dragon? You've mentioned it before, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

A custom-build Russ, with the turret battlecannon replaced with an earthshaker.

A custom-build Russ, with the turret battlecannon replaced with an earthshaker. Basically it's a super-armored bassie then?

I dont see a problem with an AT gun bassie. Its kinda kinky. I might try it some time.

Yes, Lord Kore. And it also comes with a nice lascannon hull sponson.
I saw the idea somewhere, and I thought "I'll convert that when I get back to the UK."
After all, what's the bassie's only flaw? It's inferior armour.

About "screening" tanks with infantry. 5th editions works with true LOS, for the infantry to be able to give a cover save to a tank, they have to obstruct 50% of the shooters view of the tank.
So when you get down to eye level of the guy shooting at your, do the infantry block 50% of the tank? It is actually hard to do, on a level field they usually wont. Especially a Bassie which is pretty tall.
And no, I always buy indirect. I'll fire directly if needed, but I usually want to keep my Bassie safe.

I'm getting the 3-pack this christmas of bassies to add different elements to my A.C. but other than that I prefer to stay direct fire as possible. I might add some Laser Tank Destroyers here and there also.
