My sniper

ok, here's a sniper i made...i think he's alright...but more then anything i'm not sure about the hood...there are little things that need to be touched up...but i figured i'd ask your guys opinions before i got to work on him...'m almost thinking of just using regular cadian snipers or SM sniper scouts as they are both much less fragile and time consuming than this guy...also...i feel like the green stuff i was using was alot stickier then i remember it being...not sure why...made modeling a pain in the ass.
well here's what i got...all opinions and criticism appreciated...don't worry, i wont get offended, i'm not sure how i feel about him anyway

I like that sniper! Clever way to make a scope, now I know how I'm converting them.

Good conversion, I like the scope and elongated (spelling?) barrel. You should try to get rid of those fingerprints on the next cloak though

I'm not a fan of the flash-suppressor. Looks too big for me: just a little bit thinner would make the cut I think.

lick your thumb when using green stuff and smooth it out and you wont get any fingerprints

Your sniper conversion looks great man; the gun is greatly detailed!
The thumb print bug me though. F3L1X's advice is a good remedy for next time though

yeah, he's gonna wait to be painted...he is my reward for finishing a box of cadians that i haven't started yet...i just started the army so i don't have much...i only have 22 finnished guardsmen...when i finnish these 20 i'm starting tonight, i'll paint the sniper and my heavy bolter guys and then show some progress pics.

maybe i'll do the sniper after i do 10 guys, and then the heavy after the next 10...it gets boring fast painting so many of the same thing so i try to break it up

Nice sniper you have here, the cloack lack some "depth" and seems too plain...but I know it is very difficult to sculpt!

I like your scope, how have you made it: lasgun flash suppressor and ??

or just dip your fingers/it in water, i find saliva makes green stuff kinda.. gluey, in a bad way.

cloaks are hard work, but you done a decent job, keep trying, as every one you make, gets better.
