how did the alternate method of armour you tried? I forget the method you were using. It was to make it lighter I believe (not steel)

I´m not so satisfied about my work at this point.....I do some experiments with the aramide but it is a long time to work, and you can do only one size with the form.
I´ll manufacture my elysian armour in the old steel style...but I´ve optimized the weight, I use only 1mm steel in to sheets, inner and outer side. It is light enought to do some action with the armour...I build 4 cadian armours in this way...

This are two new armour pieces...I´ve changed the steel shoulder strap against an flexible strap...

Post by Inquisitor Lord Graenis on Apr 27, 2009 14:02:45 GMT -5
Wow! You managed to get a flexible strap? I take it these are the newer steel plates, as the reason you had the steel strap was because it was too heavy? If I remember correctly.

Sister Galatea(M.I.A) Lord Graenis: Yes and No, we need the steel straps for the fixing of the shoulder plates. kommissar: Nice idea, my wife gets now an uniform too, as an detached navy member, for taking pics and communication... We meet two sister of battle cos-players in 2007 on the german gamesday...hoping for pics if that are ready.. Greets Watts

awesome? You willing to sell one of those bayonets?

I suppose the bayonet doesn't have anything distinctly Imperial on it, so you shouldn't have a problem selling them Watts and ah, why did/do you need a steel one for holding the shoulder plates?

Colonel-Commissar, (M.I.A) : Not at this time.....because in september there is an great campain of the empire and we need every weapon we can get.. ;D Sister Galatea(M.I.A) Lord Graenis : "I suppose the bayonet doesn't have anything distinctly Imperial on it, so you shouldn't have a problem selling them Watts " If I had enough of them, then is this an correct statement The weight of the old shoulder plates stretch the soft shoulder straps down....was not so effective in daily use..but the new shoulder plates are only 1.5mm thick, the older one 2mm outside and 1mm innerside... tankshock and nicholasakira : Thanks.....lets go on.... Ohhhh....I think , you all have´nt seen details of my own creation infantry weapon, its an specialist weapon for commando operations, seen on the beginning of the thread....I´m wondering that weapons in this style not in use in the imperial elite forces... Upper barrel is an lasgun the other barrel is an bolter with an pump slide and 6 shoots of cal.75 bolts. The weapon had an folding stock ...and I like it. I use two types of mags, the standart one of the M36 and an HE typ....it is bigger( like on the pic) Greets Watts

TAKE ME WITH YOU! I WOULD SELL YOU MY SOUL! (no really... I would.) The awsomeness is... well... AWSOME! You and your... squad................ I wish I lived in Germany...... I am very jealous. To partake in something such as that... wow... it would be amazing. I live 40k, but I don't have the skill, people, or money to do such a thing. Hmm... would you sell a lasgun and body armour for a soul? and maybe a house... and everything i own? (except my computer as i need it, and of course my tent. have to sleep somewhere. )

There are only 3 weapons outside of MY arsenal, the HE Hellfire gun(done by myself) from Sgt.Winchester and his 3 barrel-shotgun from Krieg( I do only the weldings ,the works on the lathe and similar things, this one was the most expensive weapon build in the squad ever) , and an early las pistol build by an other squad member(on this weapon I do only the weldings). The other weapons stored at my home and is my property ;D Currently that is: 1 Mortar 100mm 1 Autocannon 40mm 1 Assault cannon cal.45 1 Heavy stubber Cal.50 (with tripod or on ring mounting) in real M2 Browning size 1 Heavy stubber twin linked( in a little smaller size) 1 Heavy bolter 30mm Cadian pattern 1 Heavy bolter 30mm Elysian pattern 1 Assault bolter 20mm (secondary weapon on the shelter)
Infantry light weapons: 1 Bolt pistol 1 Sniper rifle 8 M36 Standart lasguns 1 M41 experimental lasgun ;-)) 1 Combinied lasgun/bolter weapon 1 Grenade launcher 40mm 1 Flammer 1 Sten like survive weapon for fixing on the back of the armour. 2 boxes a 16 ´Frag grenades
therefore coming in the near future.... 1 Lasgun with bajonet elysian pattern two types of mine dummys (anti tank and anti personel-to connect with wire) @kaine Orren :
Yes I would sell it for a soul....if you live in germany and you say I will fighting for the empire....put your soul to me and I will give you the equipment to do this job well..... ;D
Ohh...I dont need a tent... ;D I own 8 pieces( 4 military tents and 4 middle age styled tents) Greets Watts

Good. I'm going to Germany in the future. and i plan on living there when I go out on my own. (not sure how i'm going to do that) Germany is... awsome. (better than America i think) I'll make sure I give you my soul. Then i can hide out in the firebase as the officer's Adjundant. (just hope i don't get treated like my adjundants. ) And i just had a vision: All the members of IGMB moving to Germany, and us starting a REAL Imperial Guard army. Of course, we'd sell our previous houses and furniture, and move into a military-style like complex. And then we'd be found when the Emperor sends an expeditionary force after being seperated by a warp storm for 20,00 years and... wait... that seems... that would never happen. Or would it? ^_^
