I am planning to make a Tank Company, and I love the model of the forgeworld griffon... Is the griffon useful? since that it just cost 75point...

it's useful as its cheap and opponents think its like a bassie so therfore make it a prioty one target. and its not bad in cities of death either,

1. its cheap 2. since its not a bassie, people ignore it 3. it doesnt have a crazy minimum range 4. its gun is deadlier than a whirlwind's

Hmmm, I've looked through all of my Imperial Armour books, my codex, and online, so either I don't have the stats or I'm drunk (and I don't drink). this must fixed *rushes off to call for help*

The Griffin is a great siege engine and nothing more under the new 5th ed rules where all buildings can be destroyed this makes the griffin freakin awesome. An armored company thats getting harassed by a couple of lascannons in a building just shoot the building and tangle the squad in the wreckage that makes it all the better. How ever on open terrrain its just a anti inf pie plate on a mobile platform not much else.
