Hi all
I am in the process of creating an Apocalypse IG force to a total of 50,000 points comprising of Infantry, Armour, Flyers, and Titans.
So far I have most of the Infantry and Armour (I'm waiting for the Valkyries alleged being released next ... April???). Someday I will obtain 3x Warhound FW Titans, but not soon.
I enjoy the Fluff and backstories in the 40K world of hobbies, almost as much as assembly / painting / playing.
My aim is to have an Armoured Battlegroup operational and painted within a year, at the moment I have 2x LR Tank Coy, 2x Baneblade Coy, and 4x Infantry Coys - 1x Light / 1x HWpn / 1x Kasrkin / and 1x Mech.
I'm still working on exact wpn fitout of each component and still in build mode - none painted yet.
I'm more of a solo player (Micro Armour and GW Epic since the early 80's) and now 40K - since Apocalypse. I have a large Rumpus room with a 12' x 6' game board with modular scenery tiles that mix in with 2x RoB gameboards, including the City boxed set.
My main opponent is... ME... I also have a 50,000 Apocalypse SM force WIP as well.

I've seen the IA books and have the Apocalypse books, and I see many formations that contradict each other, such as the Baneblade Coy. One book says 1 HQ tank plus 3 others... another book says a Coy is 3 tanks, one must be an HQ.
It gets complicated trying to follow set background that does not add up and forces one to DIY.
What do you guys think?
