I have an Idea for a Dogs of War list, but I was wondering whether I should have any RoR in there? as it is quite small only 10 units with 4 characters.

Personally, i wouldnt use RoR. Regular pikes are much cheaper and theyre quite effective.
I would cut down on the unit size of duellists. 10 is more than enough, 15 is too large, heyre not supposed to take units on their own.

Meh i dont really count Asarnil as a RoR, just have a mental block which makes me think of him solely as a Lord. Though ive never used him, but hes and elf on a dragon so ofc hes awesome.
Another good unit, some may disagree but i think theyre brilliant - Halbierders with Heavy Armour. And with the Paymaster, theyre stubborn, making a solid central unit.
Also i notice your sticking your general in the unit of Cavalry. I would place him in a pike block, Human armies need their General's Leadership or they just keep running. If you want your Hvy cav to have some more of a kick (rubber lances) then maybe invest in a Captain to lead them.

Thats looking mighty fine, main infantry look great, big blocks is what you need. Ranged looks good and the hot pot makes up for its points 'most' of the time.
two things id suggest though, in a largish point game your Wizard isnt going to have much power, maybe just use him as lvl 1 with dispel scrolls to make him defensive and save points. The other thing is the large unit of light cav, with the points saved on the wizard, maybe invest in 2 more guys and split them into 2 groups of five - though this might not be your play style... i just use them to distract things disrupt march moves. Other than that, the list looks solid!
Now go earn some gold

Just a little question from someone who has no idea about Dogs of War. Aren't the Mercenary General and that Elf both Lords? If so the list is illegal as you can only use one Lord in a 2999 points army. But like I said I have no idea about what is what in the DoW list

nope. Asarnil is a Hero and a rare choice for dogs of war armies. For the other Armies he can be in he is two Hero and a Rare. I have the list in front of me.
