Is there any pics of those kits? Like is there some pics of the new Storm Troopers or greens of them (if they still make those...)? If not, does anybody know when we can expect to see some?
Thanks!

Hey! Everything in the top half of my orignal post is on the ordering list, no pics though, for mid april which means towards end of april for release, theres a big boxed army as well but we don't know as yet whats in it. (always subject to last minute change u know what they are like) I'll get the blister releases list posted tommorrow. The new super heavies along with ork stompa are released 7th march. The hellhound/chimera kit is also on. The other stuff I mentioned is very hush hush like prototype/ work in progress stuff seen by GW's trade reps then passed on by word of mouth to independent suppliers, its about 12 months from idea to model kit for the GW studio. I've spoken to Gw not store staff who have seen the test sprue for the warhound titan and are of course wettin themselves about it. Everything can change though, 5th edition 40k was released two years earlier than planned for example. The infantry upgrade kit is not on the list it only goes up till april 09 then we get another one that goes up till aug09, but the kit is on its way for next year. I've heard rumours that the cadian boxed sets are revamped to include heavy weapons but according to my sources they are unchanged, the only really major infantry side change is the new catachan command box and of course stormies. Something else I was told was that for second wave release, april 2010 you'll be able to get a turret upgrade kit for russ's so all those forge world turrets will be available to us normal folk who can't afford resin! lol I also know that xmas 2009 sees the plastic thunderhawk kit hitting the shelves, I've no idea how much it will cost yet but its looking like it might come in october for the second marine wave releases along side a few other things like a new dreadnought.
hope that gives everyone something to talk about lol if your interested in any other armies I'll check the lists for u

I doubt the infantry has remained unchanged if the prices from BOLS indicate anything. GW would not have a 10 dollar drop in prices for absolutely nothing...

salamander scout/command upgrade kit for infantry to make valhallans or steel legion plastic warhound titan, yes its true The upgrade kit for infantry interest's me quite a bit. I can trully hope that this is true. This could confirm rumours for years of plastic greatcoat guardsmen. Though i'm not holding my breath.

Well as far as I know not really much change to infantry, the price drops may have something to do with the tax drop in the uk, as even though they are selling stuff overseas GW are still liable for uk taxes but are passing the saving on to customers across the board, plus I know stuff isn't the same price all over the world which may account for this

Will we see plastic Ogryns? The metal ones are expensive, considering they aren't currently that useful. Sounds like they'd get a boost in the new codex, which is great 'cos I think they add some humor to a Guard army, and really stand out on the battle-field. He he, idiotic military-togged Ogre thugs in the 40k-verse. I always loved that! I still reckon the snipers should be characterised as squat refugees. It'd fit the fluff well, be a wink to the old-school guard players, and they wouldn't be space-hobbits. Anyway, that's the end of my rambling!
