right. i dont think theres a disagreement with the fact that prices are going up. but its that way with everything, isnt it? and this never was a cheap hobby, thats why me and my friends had to wait till we had jobs to begin. idk. it really doesnt shock me at all. i just hope they dont stop having those happy little boxes that save one about $40 haha. i would die if it werent for battleforces. Yeah it doesn't surprise me either, but that doesn't justify it . Buy te 20man boxed sets while you still can!! (can get them for £15 on ebay...)

if i had the money to do that, i would. but im focusing on getting a lot for a little cash.
like somehow im manageing to get 4 battleforces and a basilisk battery (and the old codex) for under $400. it'll kill my account. ahah.
and to aeonian, i'd rather save $20 if i could. especially if the new boxes are gonna be somewhere around $22. that way i could get a battleforce and throw in $2 (not including tax) and get another box.
i lost my train of thought. i hope any of that made sense. i heart my battleforces. ahah.

I wonder what the new IG battleforce will be like, if they'll re-package it or not? Hope we get a good saving out of it, but the Ork one doesn't provide much of one, about 10 quid.

Good saving? This is GW we're talking about. People recommended I order the battleforces online from generic scifi gaming sites, and at first I was excited because they marked them down 15%! Of course, it was too good to be true, as after shipping fee's I would have only saved about $2. Anyway, if you want to save money, do what I do, have unsuspecting gandmothers buy them for you for christmas.

While a bit out of topic I can recommend www.game-shed.com/ and www.maelstromgames.co.uk/Game-Shed always gives %15 discount and shipping is free for orders over 25GBP (about 36$) Maelstromgames gives %10 discount and shipping is free for orders over 10GBP (about 14.4$) and you can always use ebay if you are a good tracker...

Hi Noble, long time no head-butting, glad to see the xenophobia is holding up strong... anyhow, it's probably best to get your units shipped from the UK anyhow.
In case you haven't noticed the strength of the pound has halved in the last year (global economic crisis anyone?) against the dollar and the euro. This means that the cost of GW has halved! Plus the VAT in the UK has dropped from 17.5% to 15% meaning further savings.
Have you noticed any half price discounts in your local GW store, nah - didn't think so.
Let me give you an example, I built 10 roughriders (cadian/Empire pistollier conversion) for £2.10 each and 6 Orgyrns (Ogre Bulls Conversion) for a mere £3 each...
Gifts for Geeks are offering 25% discount minimum off all models. That means that a Cadian battleforce is a mere $52 (£37) plus shipping.
This beats the $90 retail and the $72 discounted US price.

I think he means that if you are buying with dollars from UK sites, the current exchange rates work in your favor.
