I wouldn't care much if it wouldn't be the Netherlands Germany-Netherlands have some problems with each other... To quote my former history teacher regarding global warming: "In about 400 years our problems with the Netherlands should have settled..." And for those who speak German here: "Ohne Holland fahrn wir nach Berlin!" (Something like: "Without the Netherlands to Berlin!") (Football Worldcup 2006 after the Netherlands had to go home) and from the Worldcup 2002 "Über Japan und Korea lacht die Sonne, über Holland die ganze Welt." (difficult to translate as it uses 2 different meanings of the word laugh in German, but it had something to do with laughing over Netherlands problems with qualification, they weren't qualified at all, and that the weather is nice in Japan and Korea Disclaimer: And no, I'm neither a racist nor do I think that Americans or ppl from any other countries are stupid

dethklok .. its ok.. prior to leaving Canada to move to Turkey with my wife.. I didn't know where a lot of the european countries were located let alone that there was a difference in cultures among all of them.. thought they were just one large messed up family like north america only reason I know now that the .nl is netherlands as well is from work where I have to go through and seperate translations and publish them to Sony's different websites all across Europe.. and thus I have to know their country abbreviations.. like nl for netherlands, de for germany ( knight can you explain that one to me??? or is germany spelled differently in germany ) and es for spain ( again I am confused.. but meh oh well.. ).. cheers gris

.DE is for .Duetchland (correct me if its spelt wrong) which is German for Germany, ES is for Espainia (again, correct me if I'm wrong).
