No way on all those huge stats. The Emperor was awesome but no that awesome.
350 points
WS: 8 BS: 6 St: 6 T: 5 W: 5 A: 6 I: 6 LD: 10 Save: 2+ / 4+invulnerable
Storm Bolter, Emperors Sword (Force Weapon that can reroll to wound rolls), Melta Bombs, Cant be Instant Killed, Fearless, Golden Halo, Artificer Armor.
Makes any Friendly units within 24" of him Fearless
Golden Halo: 4+ invulnerable save. This save extends to psychic powers used against any unit within 24" once per turn (can always be used on the empeor, regardless of other uses)
Bane Of Deamons: Wounds any Deamon or enemy psyker on a roll of 3+. Against tanks with deamonic possession he inflicts a glancing hit on a 2-3 and a penetrating hit on a 4+.
Battle fervor: any unit within 24" of the emperor always gains an extra attack in close combat.
Retinue: Follwed by the finest warriors. The emperor can take a unit of 3-9 Terminators as his retinue. All Terminators in the unit can be upgraded to a Veteran, and all weapons wielded by these terminators are master crafted, in addition the suits of armor grant a 4+ invulnerable save instead of the standard 5+. These terminators cost an additional 10 points per model.
That should make him pretty bad ass, and make him a true leader of the imperium.
They say that Abbadon has proven equal to Horus in ability (just fluff Im sure) and Horus managed to mortally wound the emperor. Assuming that the comparison of Abbadon and Horus in ability is a bit inflated in Abbadon's favor the emperor should be a bit better than him. But the bodyguard of the empires finest should make the difference in most games. That many well equiped Termies will make an impact for sure.
Could be fun to play a Heresy campaign that starts with going out on expadition with the emperor and ending with the betrayal!

Isn't The Emperor constricted to the Porcelain...I mean, Golden Throne? I thought he was pretty much crippled and immobile? In which case his stats wouldn't be too impressive. He'd just kind of sit there and have a special rule where he gobs off at the enemy and yells out orders at his forces like a beligerent dad at his kid's middle-school soccer match. Emperor: "Come on you pansies! Put your backs into it ya losers! Jesus, I can't believe I spawned you wimps..." *Space Marine turns to Sgt, Whispers "why do we follow this idiot again?"
*Sgt turns to see The Emperor excitedly screaming insults at a nearby tactical squad, leaning so far forward from his seat that he tips out, then flails innefectually while raging at the servitors who are trying to help him back up as he flails around*
Sgt:"I wonder if the World Eaters have any positions open..."

But I think you miss the point of an Emperor model. He's on the GT because of a hardcore fight with Horus.
Before such a battle he lead SMs into battle all through the Great Crusade, up till a crusade against the orks where he declared he was heading back to Terra, leaving Horus in charge. During the Great Crusade warriors from many Space Marine Legions fought beside him and his 'Custodians' (now Grey Knights). The Imperial Army also fought beside Him, but were usually on guard duty (hence the name). Those that did fight beside Him were like the Space Marine's versions of the Space Marines. There's your history lesson for today.
GW will never, ever create an Emperor model or profile. Many have tried, very very few have succeeded. But hey, I never said don't try. Personally I like verminard's idea. I'd use that, but i think a push to 400pts and a rise in Initiative to 7 or 8, and add +1 Str with the sword.

Hey, I know the history of Warhammer 40k! I've read the Horus Heresy books (well, four and a half of 'em) And yeah, if the Emperor could stomp Horus with his warp taint (which, the books suggest, really buffs a soldier up), then he must have been nails. Though he did get a hand from sissy angel-boy Sanguinas. But in the time scale of the game as it is now, everything's happened after his big 'ol dust up with Horus, hence he'd have to be represented as tethered to the throne. Unless there was going to be a tournament that re-creates the events of the Horus uprising, which would, frankly, be utterly brilliant. You could have Space-Hulk type games to represent boarding actions like those on The Eisenstein, A bit of Battlefleet Gothic action too. Maybe some representation of the races that were encountered at the time like The Laer, and a big ass Apocalypse representation of the battles that took place at the height of the conflict. And some kind of modified combat rules to render the duel between Horus and The Emperor in its rightful awesomeness. That'd be pretty darn cool.

1. The Emperor isn't that awesome... 2. Mortally wounded by Horus who was a Primarch who has been fighting all the time in his life, which the Emperor didn't 3. Abbadon was the Captain of the Terminator bodyguard and most trusted general of Horus, he spent his whole life fighting 4. Abbadon was compared to Horus skills when they were both alive, not after Abbadon spent another 10.000 Years fighting. So right now I'D say the Emperor would actually have the same or WORSE stats than the current Abbadon

*raises a shrivled maggot infested hand*
plus every psychic power ever written into the game...
He is king psyker if nothing else, and remember that he was holding back when he fought Horus, right up until the end when he obliterated him with a psykic attack that made the chaos gods recoil in horror.
also, Adeptus Custodes, terminators armed with force halberds equiped with built in stormbolters!
it would be beautiful, but I doubt it'll ever happen.

Wait, custodians became grey knights? Where'd you read that?
@ymoot, they used to have a converted custodes army on the gw site, i think it used grey knights rules, and they looked AMAZING. After they remade the website though I can't find it >_<

A bit like grey knights, but the stormbolters are integrated into the helbreds, not the armor, also much more awesome, I would assume.
At least that is how it looks from what I have been able to piece together from artwork and other varous sources

At any rate, picture the model of the Emporer. A), it would CLEARLY cost you an eternity of servitute to GW, as well as some more-or-less nonvital organs. And B), any painting error, no matter how small, would call for ritual suicide.
BTW, neither of those things would stop me from getting a model of the Emporer.

@john_Galt, the Custodians were Space Marines with the Emperors gene-seed. After He defeated Horus any remaining Custodians were left to guard the Emperor and have done ever since. All the while the Grey Knight's were given their gene-seed which the are forced to protect. All in all the Custodians never became the Grey Knights, or vice versa, the Grey Knights were just created and given their stuff, while they guard the Emperor's Palace, because Space Marine technically can't die of old age.
@joebob22: I can tell you it won't cost!!!!! Yay!!! But you would have to make it yourself.

I mean, that's really boring for them No1: "Is he still just sat there?" No2: *Peers through door at the drooling vegetable on a gold chair* "Yeah" No1: *Sighs, fidgets* "I spy with my little eye, something beginning with...E"

I agree, ritual sacrifice it is! (ever wonder why people sculpt him, but never paint him?) The emperor kicks traitor ass, even as a corpse. speaking of which, aren't corpses Nurgle's territory? So couldn't Nurgle possess the emperor?! *gasps in shock* (probably not...)

That'd be like Nurgle trying to posess Chuck Norris.
Although, to fair, I think something's got into that guy. He's become a right-wing Christian nut-job. A full on pro-creationist, take-the-bible-literally, anyone-who-disagrees-with-me-will-burn-in-Hell type. I think he's too busy fighting his sanity to have a knock-down drag-out with anyone else right now.
