So...err...will they? Not much else to say. The Cadian respirator heads that are available on Forgeworld are great, they look fantastic. But they're far too expensive to have as standard in an army (I use them for Vets). But the new info on the G.W. site mentions the new sprues have resies. Does anyone know if there'll be enough to kit out entire squads, or just one or two as alternative heads for Commanders and the like? Too bad Elysian heads, which are cheaper than Cadian ones with resies, just don't look right with Cadian bodies.

all that i know is that, some where on here the command sprue had 5 of them according to a picture taken. As far as the 10 man squad box's getting them I don't know. I'm sure they will though. That is the one thing i've been waiting to come out, and haven't seen it yet.

The respirators that are on the command squad aren't really that much like the respirators that we all know and love. They look more like old gas masks with a simple mouth and nose piece with a tube running down to a small box that sits on the front of the model.

Sadly, the Cadian Respirator heads from FW can only be bough in the upgrade pack... the gas masks that come in the command squad are like what Timy was talking about... I tried to get the FW heads separate and they sadly told me that they are no longer available separately.

If we can't have respirators, how will our men fight in airless environments? Like hell I'm going to let the Smurfs get all the glory.

I was thinking, when the new 'dex comes out and I virtually completely start over my entire guard army (the vast thing it is ) that I would, in order to further customize my own regiment, give them green stuff or grey stuff gas masks that cover the entire face except for the eyes, which would need some sort of visor or goggles. But, if these gas masks are in there, it will save me a lot of time ;D

Darn. Not proper resies then? That's a shame. I guess I'll stick to just having respirators on my vets. After all 15 quid for ten heads (Which is all I really want) is too much. As for modelling visors, Aeon, I'm sure that if you're confident enough to do a resi, a visor will present no problem! All my guys have visors made from just a very thin piece of flattened greenstuff. Simple! My attempts to model a resi on a miniature made the guy look like someone had made an aborted attempt at modelling a respirator on his face from green-stuff, failed, thrown the model across the room, then lamented the fact he was probably never going to be able to fashion a convincing face-mask out of mdelling putty. No-one believed me when I said that was the look I was going for.
