Scariest new unit i just posted over on warseer. So i fiuger i put it hear.
Take a culexus assassain and full sq of those psyker, just keep at lest 7 away from the assassain. And you get a assassain with a assault 11 ap 1 s5 weapon. Given the asassain BS skill you are going to hit at wound at les 6-8 of them. My math might be a bit off. Also the s5 ap 1 will be able to do some damg to light armour. That assassain could be come assualt 20 ap 1 s5 if there is no limted on psykers. I will be feilding that in the first game i play with the new dex. As long as the psyker dont cost a arm and leg.

The one enemy thing I just cannot get rid of are these great big blobby waddle along and sit on your objective things with toughness in double figures and close to half a dozen wounds.
And I field a list with six vehicles throwing out templates.
I just cannot seem to whittle those wounds down enough to kill them by the end of the game.
So personally I have great hopes for this Vendetta ;D
According to Rumour Control it'll have three twin linked Las-Cannons !!! And can fire despite moving 24" !!! (not too sure about that one). But doesn't that get any of you stirring?
And it's only 20 points more than a three, bog-standard Las-Cannon squad now that can't even move and fire in the same turn.
And ... we can have NINE of them.
I've ordered four for now and I'm thoroughly looking forward to my Vendettas flying around the battlefield in a low orbit pattern spitting out bucket loads of Strength 9, AP2, Twin-Linked Kung-Fu
And even if I do lose the game, I'll still have the best looking models on the board. Maybe I can spend 130 points (allegedly) in better ways ... but I'm not going to. I vote Vendetta.

that sais what the IG inf can do in a simple and understandable way. for those who dont understand: 500 lasguns+rapid fire+orders=close to 1000 shots-misses-not wounds-saves=about 350 dead marines. First, find me a game where that has happened.

ok, Hydra - the way the targeting system rule is written, the Hull-Mounted HB benefits as well, you get 4 twinlinked autocannon shots with 72 inch range... woop.
but personally, the new fast tank with poisened attacks. - (heavy?) Flamer template, ignores cover, wounds on a two plus and is ap3.... give it a Hull-Mounted Heavy Flamer.
that means, it will kill marines on a 2+, and it auto hits....

just because of the orders and the way their redoing them i think that the infantry could be the new destructive force.

In my mind its a close cut thing between the infantry and the 3 "artillery vehicle" squadrons.
9 Basilisks *drool*

that would be nice sight or a bad day depending what side of those pie plates you were on. the sad thing is whit out upgrades you could feild that unit in a 1750 pt game easy. At 2250 game i will be trying that out.
