As I remember (and it has been a few weeks since I saw the book) the wargear is in the same manner as the SM and Ork codices. There is no "wargear" section, each model has the options in its profile. I however, didn't get a good look at the goodies. At least we know the format... =)

Now that sounds fantastic provided my Vet. Sgt.'s can still take boltguns and stormbolters

yeah i think that we'll probably get a really long list of some quite coon new stuff for the command squads etc...
Also i am so hoping that techpriests can have a conversion beamer...

There's no way they're getting a conversion beamer. Far too powerful for a Guard unit to have. Sorry, mate.

It's too bad that all the codecies (sp?) are starting to look the same. That was one of the cool things about them, that the books reflected the character of the armies. And also the loss of the wargear/ equipment pages. They allowed a great deal of 'personalization' in an army list that the new set-up forbids. I hope that the IG 'dex requires less frantic flipping to find a poorly placed bit of important info than the new SM 'dex does...

Hmmm. I think there's always gonna be some flippage. Unless every piece of vital info is on every page, there's bound to be times when some info isn't readily at hand. I think it's a case of reducing the instances of it happening, 'cos it may not be possible to predict everything a player may need during a game in which odd things can happen.
