I think I'm gonna magnetize the wings and armaments so that it fits into my case much like my tanks do.
Just a heads up for people buying this beast, it looks cool as hell but think first before you glue!

It wont be that hard to do. The advantage is if you ALSO magnetize the multilaser/lascannon so that you can make your own Vendetta. After seeing the FW conversion kit for it... i am tempted to make my own and do some sort of a how to.
Ren
Wait... after looking at the kit again, making some sort of "clamp" or clip might be better then magnets. I would cut this up but the local shop asked me not to "grot-rig" it.

no magnets are great, as they wont damage the pieces as you remove them, like a clip might, also i think that the FW vendetta kit looks awesome.

I was considering making a custom nose chin turret for the multi-laser or the lascannon and making wing mounts for the heavy bolters, as their initial positioning seems to provide them with a very small firing angle. Magnets sound like a good idea to achieve weapon adaptability and to remove weapon destroyed results; I hope there's a tutorial around...

Where do you buy magnets? Just at a local hardware store or can you order them?

You gotta get these things called Rare Earth Magenets. Not sure how to get them though. All I know is that they're insanely powerful

If you use the little ones, Rare Earth Magnets are perfect for the role. I think the ones I used were 1/4" Diameter by 1/8" Thick, and they work great. Just got some more for the sponsons on my Russes, actually.

Calm down, Lord Solar... I think interpretive dance is what's called for to express the coolness of the new valk/vendetta. *jumps up and down, finds land raider crusader and mimics vendetta w/ hand fly-by and flips-off the tank. you thought you were cool, ground-bound-slowbie? YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE COOL?* Sorry... You're right, Solar, it's to awesome to contain.

Anyone know if you can build both the valkyrie or the vendetta from the same box or just the valkyrie? Looking forward to hunting some carnifexes with those three twin-linked lascannons.

I've pre ordered my V Force and bought some spare Las-Cannons from Bitzbox. So I'm hoping to magnetize all the external weapons.
So for the Vendetta Either a Bank of three Las-Cannons on each wing pylon (I reckon that would look averagely aggressive) or, so I can opt for hellfury Missiles a twin linked Las-Cannon pod on each wing pylon and the las-cannons from a Dreadnought kit magnetized onto the right side of the cockpit.
I'll let you know in a couple of weeks.

Wait... it's not all in one box? Heresy. Where's the GW internal police? Get the commissars after them.
