You have to pick your fights though, he has 4 attacks. Good against say, 5 man strong SM (or CSM) squads but sent him against a 10 man squad he won't survive through the round.

Sly Marbo does not deep Strike, nor does he outflank. When he comes available from reserve, he is PLACED anywhere on table at least 1" from all enemy models. he may not move or assault the turn he does. So yes. he IS just like a callidus, and "Bam, there he is."

He has NO power weapon. Marines will shred him apart as they mal all try to survive due to their armour...

Well, naturally, you need to use him carefully. he's for trying to put the ligths out on something, like a Tau battlesuit commander, or a wounded carnefex, or somesuch thing like that, he's not SUPPOSED to be put near squads of marines. but that's true of anything that includes the word guardsman in it. Yarrick is about the only one in our book who can take a marine squad on his own and have a shot.
