House of the Rising Sun: The Muse and Frijid Pink versions. The Muse version is probably the best in my opinion.

Therion - Rise Of Sodom And Gomorrah
(From the Live Gothic live album)
Wagnerian operatic heavy metal with occult/mystical lyrics. Delicious. And they actually include male tenors as well as the female sopranos. A pretty unique band that was around long before the horrible symphonic/gothic metal trend. =)

Wagerian rock? I must check this out. Wagner and I used to be drinking buddies, until he developed that nasty anti-Semetic streak. I mean, try drinking with a dude who blames everything on the Jews. It gets boring after a while.

I am listening to;
HIM - Don't fear (The Reaper)
Personally, I think this cover is very good (Not as good as the original by Blue Öyster Cult)
It's melodic and relaxing, but with a hint of sadness and "I want to scream this chorus at you!"
I won't link a YouTube video, if you want to listen to it, you'll go look.
I am also getting hold of the "Apocalyptic Discography", as I enjoyed their song "I don't care"

I am currently listening to the National Anthem of YmmotMakarova (formerly known as The United States of America), a punk cover of 'The Rocketman'. Could you perhaps give me a link if it's on youtube somewhere? I couldn't find it, and I should know my own national anthem. I'm listening to Finntroll right now. Finnish folk metal with lyrics in Swedish, about trolls and their culture. Also I realised I completly missed the original purpose of this thread, to say what you listen to overall... But that's not as fun.
