I've always liked the heavy tank idea. I think forge world might have been inspired by the Soviet Heavy Tank from the old school red alert game on this one, with the dual battle cannons and such. From what I hear there's another one coming out soon with like a hull demolisher cannon and about a gazillion heavy bolters. Looks kind of like a WWI tank.

If you fire enough heavy stubbers at something, eventually it will die. Even Wraithlords.

A stubber is what you thought the bolter was, 4/6 and the bolter is infact the same strength but ap 5. I'm fairly sure of it. The difference comes mostly in the number of shots and range if memory serves well.
The stubber is better for a tank in my opinion since most will have weapons like the heavy bolter and that is the same range and use as a stubber and the stubber fires as much as heavy bolters can. So for a small price more anti infantry shots that are quite capable of tipping the balance your way and making the enemy flee from casualties
p.s not sure if I'm meant to say too much about stats so delete this at your discretion.

Stubbers are necessary for tanks, especially when infantry support gets diverted and the approaching enemy infantry are still comin at you even after a few battle cannon blasts, just to finally wipe em out.
