Thanks HO(P?!)! Is bird sand really fine then? At the mo I'm using the GW stuff that came in my painting starting set, and I can never get it to stick together very well - it just looks like individual rocks on the bases

Scarper- Yep, bird sand is normally finer than the stuff you find on the beach or on the ground. If you want some really fine stuff, try and get some of the silt off the banks of a river. Because you're right, the GW sand is awful compared with the stuff you can get for free!

I've found sea-sand being the perfect gain size for my taste, and all you need is a shovel ^^

I know, it's been a long time but I had... Ok I don't have an excuse, I'm just incredibly lazy.

Finally finished painting the Sentinels:
Due to yesterday being Valentines, and me spending most of it painting these two, I thought I'd give them something to remember me by.






The zero could be mistaked to be blurred. It's not, that's what it looks like.






I meant to change the toe on one of them but I forgot, and couldn't be bothered to go back and change it. There's a reason why my favourite phrase is, "It'll do."

Haven't seen these in a while, looking great! I can't see anything to criticise, these look amazing - especially like the crispness of your lettering - how'd you manage it? Little details like the hazards stripes and details on the multilaser are fantastic.

Only thing I'd address is the toe positioning on the rock, but you already mentioned that. Great job, and an awesome squadron ;D
