And the moral of the story here is don't buy your minis from Australia.
I picked up my Valks for AU$50 each from overseas and the new Battalion box set for AU$99...
The Hellhound is a bit exxy though.

Yes but these new multi part kits do have a total of 3 vehicles in the and they supply you will all the pieces to make 1 of them. and with plenty of pieces to spare.
And i do also live in australia and think that 83 dollars is a bit much. But hey thats what ebay is for.

Forget Ebay - go to MaelstromGames.co.uk - free postage and you can pay with paypal (even though it doesn't show it on the front screen.
If you order a lot in one go, best compare the price with waylandgames.co.uk Depending on the amount you order the postage varies and can end up making the total order cheaper than from Maelstrom.
A lot of retailers are being shut out of eBay by GW in their new trading policy so you may see a reduction in the amount available there for sale.

yes but if i pay uk a demolisher will be 170 dollars australian. Sorry?? How do you work that out? Retail from GW is GBP29.35 Maelstrom offers for 10% off inclusive of postage to Australia say GBP26.40 At current exchange rates, and allowing for any variances you are looking at around Au$55 to Au$58 at most... That's a saving of at least Au$25 off retail. 30% saving. Not bad. How did you calculate Au$170 Jarms?

well last time i checked the australian dollar was only 54 cents when compared to the pound.
So basically i just doubled the cost.

Ah, I see your mistake, you doubled the Australian dollar price and not the UK price.
Wayland Games even has a selection to show the cost in Australian Dollars. It's on the left hand side. Check out some things you know the prices of and compare. Just remember to change the shipping location to Australia if you intend to order to get a true price. You really can save a fortune.
A friend bought 3 Valks + 30 Cadians (3x10 man sets) for Au$210. That is basically each Valk for Au$70 (saving $26) and a free 10 man squad to put in them!
Believe me, I have a tax check inbound, and I have a list ready to go of what I am after, and it is all coming from the UK.

If the box is very large, maybe you will have to pay for taxes at the Customs.

Australia one won of the last three rugby world cups 1999 - Australia 2003 - England 2007 - South Africa However, with all this pissing rain. Looks like this cricket test will be a draw... 3 tests down and England 1-0 up

Oh, I do apologise. I was too busy being nine at the time.
Still, I maintain my position that Australia cannot play rugby. Well, without cheating.

There better than the All Blacks. Has Richie McCaw ever been onside?
I'd rather see an Aussie win than a Kiwi win anyday.

Incidently, in the new hellhoud kit, the standard light vihicle hull is included even though it has its own hull. This pluss some 'card, maby some foam and the extra bits on the sprue and some leftover tracks from old vihicles= two vihicles in one box. =D
