This kind of reminds me of those flip art books. What are they called again?

I've always called them flip books.

That last one is brilliant. They've escaped the flip book house it seems.
Or have they?

*Douses Ymmot in fuzzy animals, tea, and fuzzy animals that are drinking tea* So help me I will fit the entire circumference of your skull into my mouth. For what purpose I can not say, perhaps only to gnaw on your scalp for a little while. Artwork of this, please?

I don't usually post stuff like this but I just love the ink smudging on these concepts. Ymmot (M.I.A): Is that mansquito done in biro pen?

Yep, ball point pen on scrap paper, plus a sharpie.

Despite all the cool stuff I've been able to experiment with, ball-point pens are still the t*ts. I love doodling with them (this whole webcomic project was born out of biro pen doodles I did in my notebooks during my A level classes).

The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.-Aristotle
If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.-Vincent Van Gogh

Whereas I just use a point and something sharp to make patterns on my balls.
Swings and roundabouts I guess.

Really? that's reassuring...and here I thought the interest might have dried up on my experimental web-comic copy paste stick figure thing.
Anyway, that mansquito still makes me chuckle. I crack myself up sometimes...

They obviously have to take the skeleton back through time on a long quest to rediscover bits of its flesh and glue them back on with superglue.

This is a piece I'm doing for a local student exhibition in my city. I was a bit stuck for inspiration so I just ended up with this idea of putting cellotape down, lathering water over the picture then letting ink spread through the water whilst letting the tape block it. Don't ask me why it's a cityscape, it just kind of developed into what it is.
