About as good as Dire Aventers-- except not.

People should play what ever they want how ever they want to do it, if you can have some fun with this list then go right ahead and play with it, don't expect to crush anyone(but you might get lucky, and besides victory is never a sure thing for anybody.)
if you are playing on a non competative level and doing things just for fun then nothing should stop you from playing the army you want how you want to play it, just don't get bent out of shape and start whinging about it when you lose.
(I started Dark Eldar for that reason, before any rumors what so ever about a new codex...everybody I know who was into warhammer at the time thought I was stupid, they didn't understand why I wanted to play such an old army nobody cared about...well I couldn't really explain it, I just like them, I like playing with the underdogs...heck that's even why I started 4th edition Imperial Guard.)

I'm not arguing that you shouldn't play it. I'm just injecting a bit of realism when it comes to what you should expect out of it.

Anyway... I was never a fan of all grenadier armies(old codex)...which is what you get using =I= stormies, never enough manpower, no heavy weapons, you're just limiting yourself too much...bs4 and sv4 plus two special weapons just isn't going to cut it all on its own.
I used grenadiers, plus chimera, plus commissar in the old dex(for extra hard armored fists)but never without proper gun line support.

which you really just don't have, even with inquisitorial retinues.

I also used them in conjuction with light infantry and hit my opponent in waves. It started with the infiltrated light infantry who created an opertunity for the chimeras to move in where I needed them while I kept the heavy weapons firing every turn from way back in my own deployment zone and took my opponent apart piece by piece. If the points would allow I'd toss a few squads of SoBs in there...pack em in rhinos and use them to guard my flanks or push them in with the armored rush.
Not exactly something you can do with the big =I= (espically not without battlesisters lending a helping hand.)

And with Battle Sisters, you're really better off having lots of Battle Sisters and very little, preferably no =][=, as they have little synergy with the Battle Sisters (in comparison with getting more Sisters anyway)

I have seen that a SOB list you if you are going to be using the faith points then you need to maxumize them in order to make the best use of the SOB.
One of the few books that you are in for a dollar in for a pound.
