Captain - TH x 2 Command Squad - Champion, SS x 3, apothecary
Tac @ 10 - Melta, lascannon -- Drop pod, locator (They will combat squad with melta in one group and lascannon in the other)
Termies @ 5 - Assault cannon Dreadnought -- Drop pod, locator
Assault Squad @ 10 - Melta bomb (Combat squad)
Vanguard vets @ 5 - Melta bomb -- Drop pod
Scout bikes @ 4 - melta bomb, locator

Sounds very good to me, more like a airborne assualt kind of thing. Are you attack or defender?

It performed alright, but there are some changes I'd make; most notably, changing the vanguard to assault and swapping the scout bikers for regular bikers.

Are you able to get to capture objects wihout your troops choices being killed?

Nope. The tac squad was utterly destroyed by a gunslinger squad in a bastion with the reroll to hit and reroll to wound strategems. The knife fighter squad with primaris psyker hopping out of a secret hatch didn't help either...
Fortunately, all the other stuff I had was able to win the day. The dreadnought was surprisingly useless outside of cc, but having him pick-up and slam a chimera into the ground was good enough. The scout bikes got a bad roll on the TB cover save, and all died to a single manticore salvo.
...what else... the termies and assault squad were the heroes of the day. And the storm bolters and locator beacons on the drop pods. Those were also great. Locator beacon in planetstrke = awesome sauce.
For the defender, interceptor autocannons = very handy. One of those things that perform better on the table than you'd think. Interceptor lascannon = failsauce. Concentrated failsauce. You must man these because they're one shot bs2, and thus that unit is unable to react later-on if you want to keep manning the cannon. An invitation to have the thing stolen, or destroyed.
