Gideon Ravenor is the Man. Put plainly he could be an extra uber character in the 41 millennium. What if I modeled the little sleek black chair and created a Ravenor model for use with an Inquisition army? What might his rules be, or what would be the cost for such a BAMF?
Movement- Since he is in an armoured psi-chair on grav, it sounds more like a jet bike. With these rules he does not have to worry about moving over dangerous terrain.
Shooting- Twin linked Psycannons (Chair)
"Waring"-When Ravenor's mind takes control of one his minions and he fights as if he were that minion. This is the coolest part of the Ravenor books that he can control their mind and actions. With this ability he can make a regular character faster and stronger. I think the controlling character must take a psychic test for the power and then nominate the model. That model must then take a leadership test to see if they allow Ravenor to control their body. If passed, for the turn that models' WS +1, S +1, and attacks +2.
Let me know what you think so far.

I had thought about this... (stuff in quotes could have a better name)
Ravenor (post chair-ification): 220 points
Independent character. Jetpack infantry. WS2 BS7 S3 T5 W3 I5 A2 Ld10 Sv4+, 4++
Two psycannons, Ravenor may fire both in the same shooting phase, but must still fire at the same unit. Ccw. Stubborn, acute senses, stealth. Ravenor may not run in the shooting phase.
Psychic powers: "Crazy construct thing:" Psychic shooting attack, nominate one unit w/in 24" to take d6 S6 AP2 hits. Ravenor's controlling player may allocate the wounds. If there is an enemy psyker w/in range this attack must target the psyker. It need not target the same unit as a psycannon.
Waring: Ravenor must not move, shoot, or assault the turn this is used. Use this at the beginning of the controlling player's turn. Targets a friendly model. The model must pass a Ld test, if passed it gains the following: +1 WS, +1 BS, +1I, Ld10, FNP SR. Lasts until the end of this turn, or until Ravenor is assaulted.
If Ravenor is in your army, you may re-roll for choosing who goes first.
Master psyker: Ravenor may always roll 3d6 for his psychic test and choose the best result. In addition, he may use both powers in each turn if he so desires.
"Crazy stealth field:" This gives Ravenor a 4+ inv save, and the stealth USR (as noted above).

Mmmm.... It would be good, but 220pts is a lot for a Psyker... jump pack infantry... idk. He is the chair. He floats, not jumps. I think jetbike, or even skimmer stats.

Jet pack, not jump pack. And how many points is Mephiston?

225, but he has assault abilities. Ravenor really cant assault...anything. Even nominating a bad ass model wouldn't make up for him lacking a pointy stick.

And well he shouldn't assault. He uses his groupies to assault. I think that six all-but-guaranteed psycannon bolts at 36" or three all-but-guaranteed psycannon bolts at 36" and d6 guaranteed (with passed psychic test) S6 AP2 hits at 24" is worth it. Also I forgot a few things in there, I'm editing it...
