Good plan, but (everything in 40k has a big but regardless on which side it is on) You need at least 3000 points for the Apocalypse Baneblade, so there is plenty of room for Chaos to fill their ranks up, for example with their own Baneblade Deepstriking Meltaguns are always an option, but it can horribly fail if they should scatter directly on the Land Raider (lost) or just to 7" away from it (really hard to kill a Land Raider at that distance with a Meltagun and lost next shooting phase)... Every shot wasted on the Predator isn't aiming at my troops in their vehicles or even worse (since I discovered the advantage of bikers) on my bikes that will assault in turn 2 after destroying one squad by shooting the next one will fall in CC... Oh and just a little note. Chaos players will love to use Vindicators possessed by a deamon... Not just termies die to Plasmaguns and termies have the same chances to survive like you gunners, Tzeentch Terminators have an even better chance of survival How much does a GK terminator cost? Or said in a different way. For every 2 GK terminators you get 3 Chaos terminators... Oh and again they might be a bit better in CC then my own terminators, but they're slower and fewer. So they will most likely die in CC before they can even strike once... So you see there is no guarantee that it works. Neither for the Chaos player nor for you. And today I saw a BB in action. it killed 3 friendly squads that deepstriked behind the lines. 2nd turn the BB exploded because it draws too much fire. So for me it won't be any BB that soon. I'll spend my money and points on more reliable and cheaper troopers for now...
