As a Salamanders player with virtually no art skills what so ever instead of painting a standard myself I decided to go the way of photoshop, make a standard, print it out and just glue 'er on. Anyway, here is my problem: I need a good side view picture of a Thunder Hammer. I've been searching the net like an addict searching for a fix but no luck.
I don't really have anything to offer in return, except for my eternal thanks. But if anyone out there has a good side view pic of a thunder hammer, or I don't know, could draw one up, that would be great.
Thanks in advance.

I could give it a whirl, but what kind of TH, and what feel? Also, just the TH, or anything else in there?

Well, the style I envisioned was one like the TH's from the Space Marine trailer, another good example assuming you haven't seen the aforementioned trailer would be the Warhammer on the front of the current Edition 40k rulebook. In other words just a big sledgehammer looking boxy death hammer.
As for other things, I intended to put the word SALAMANDERS above the hammer in an arc using whatever awesome high Gothic esque font I could find. Other than that, maybe some flames coming up near the bottom of the hammer since it seems almost criminal to have something Salamanders without a fire reference.
Hope that's not to much to ask. Thanks ElegaicRequiem, you are truly most awesome.

Save the compliments for after I try. I'll do my best. Or as close as the computer will let me get to it.

Okay, so I have a rough sketch down in a file. I'm trying to keep it a bit simple, because when you print a shrunken picture little details get fuzzy or lost altogether. Do you want to proof it? And how shall I get it to you, and if what format?

I'm not to familiar with all my photo formats so basically whichever. BMP, JPEG, etc. It'd be nice to see how it looks as of now so I can ask for corrections or the like. If you could email it to me my email is sabastian@icehouse.net

The hammer looks lovely. (Well, if that's a proper word to use when describing a hammer) However I'd probably replace the dragons with the Salamanders white dragon/lizard head thing.

I'll see what I can do, but it's not textured, so it won't look like it's sculpted out of the hammer.

Thanks. I received it earlier today, however I was asleep mostly due to the nasty middle ear infection. Thanks a lot ElegaicRequiem

Hope your ear feels better. So you like it? Glad I could help. You could name a dreadnought Requiem, if you like.

Yes. The hammer shall work quite well. Now all I have to do is find a way to make it banner size. And I could. I could indeed

Get some nice paper, and shrink the picture to the proper size, and print on a decent printer.
What you might do, is take it to a printing shop, and ask an employee to do it, and maybe put multiple copies on a page.

And don't forget to know the dimensions of the banner ahead of time. That's the sort of simple detail I'd forget...

speaking of dimensions. You wouldn't know the dimensions of an IG regimental standard would you? Off topic yes, but I figure I might as well kill two birds with one stone if I can.
